Course Description:

1. An intensive look at God’s mandate for missions which is a prevailing theme from the beginning of God’s Word, in the OT, and its fulfilment in the NT era up to the present day.


2. We will look into developments in the missionary task—strategies, terminologies and also take heed of its urgent call for all Christians to participate.

Course Objectives
At the end of the course, YOU (students) will learn:
A- The Theology of Mission—
1. Discover in the OT, God’s MISSIONARY MESSAGE to the GENTILES and the NATIONS of the world;
2. God’s MISSIONARY PURPOSE in the NEW TESTAMENT era and beyond
B- The ADVANCEMENT of the GOSPEL from BIBLICAL TIMES to the PRESENT time;
C- The IMPORTANCE and NATURE of STRATEGIES in WORLD EVANGELIZATION;
D- The MISSIONARY TASK at hand—who and where the majority of the UNREACHED people groups are and consider METHODS that can be used to REACH them;
E- The DYNAMICS of CULTURE and how to ADDRESS ISSUES for effective inter-cultural INTERACTION;
F- That ALL are CALLED to take a VITAL PART in mission—students will discover their God-given role in mission by studying the 6 Ways of reaching God’s world.
